    Details:
Upon selecting the “Go” button, you will be taken to your search results page:

Available

If your desired domain name is available for registration, it will list with a green “available” indicator, alongside the current registration price:

Use the green +Register button to add the domain name to your cart for checkout:

You may register your .NU or .SE domain name for an initial period from 1 to 10 years. We offer per-year discounts for registrations of more than one year.

    After placing your order:

If you have not already validated your contact details or agreed to the Terms and Conditions for the .NU Top Level Domain, you will receive an email with instructions how to validate your contact details and confirm that you agree to the Terms and Conditions. After you have received and followed the instructions in that email, your domain name registration will be activated.

If you have already followed this procedure for previous .NU domain names in your account, your domain name order should be processed immediately.

Not available

If your desired domain name is already registered, and is thus not available for registration, you will not be able to register it. The domain will list with an orange “taken” indicator:

This domain name is not available for registration.

Transfer

Only the current holder of the domain may transfer it. If you are the owner of the domain and you currently have it located at a different registrar, you can transfer the domain to NuNames using the white “Transfer” button to add it to your cart for checkout:

There is no cost for transferring a .NU or .SE domain name to NuNames; other Top Level Domains may have a fee.

When transferring a .NU or .SE domain name, you will not receive an additional year of registration; domain names under other Top Level Domains may receive an additional year.

You will need the current Authorization Code (also called EPP Code) of the domain name, available from the current registrar, in order to transfer the domain name to NuNames. You can find the current registrar by doing a whois lookup.

More information about domain name transfers at NUNAMES can be found here.

If you are not the owner of the domain name and you wish to contact the current owner, you can do so via the Swedish Internet Foundation’s domain search page.
